Overview
Dragon Palace is a family-run Cantonese restaurant on New Briggate in Leeds. They needed a site that felt as considered as the food: quick to load, easy to read on a phone at the bus stop, and simple to keep up to date. We built a fully responsive marketing site with a structured menu, opening hours, directions, a one-tap WhatsApp and phone booking flow, and a print-ready PDF menu generated from the same content, so the website and the printed list can never drift apart.
Challenge
Most local restaurant sites are slow, hard to update and unreadable on mobile. Dragon Palace wanted something that loaded instantly, worked perfectly on a phone, and let diners book or find the door without friction.
Design & Development Approach
We designed a calm, high-contrast layout around the restaurant's own photography, then built it as a static site on Cloudflare so pages open in well under a second anywhere. Menu, hours and contact details are driven by structured content, and the booking form composes a pre-filled email straight to the restaurant, no fragile third-party widgets.
